Visit Montreux in a different way… Montreux Secrets Tours opens the doors to original, sometimes private places, all of which have a link with the origins of the extraordinary Montreux Jazz Festival and its creator Claude Nobs.
We also look at the particular history of the tourist and cultural development of Montreux from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day: Igor Stravinsky, Maurice Ravel, Miles Davis or Nina Simone.
The tours are designed and presented by Stephan Perrinjaquet, a musician born in Montreux, who likes to call himself “a child of the Festival”. From a very young age, he attended many concerts (Casino period) and met or knew personally emblematic figures such as Astor Piazzolla, David Bowie, the composer Hubert Giraud, or the sound engineer and producer David Richard (Mountain Studio).
